The Home Energy Squad® will come to your home and make it more efficient for you. They’ll do everything included in a Squad Visit, plus conduct a full Energy Audit of your home. Installation, labor and materials are free — a $600 value.

This visit typically lasts three hours and offers professional installation of energy-saving equipment that may include:
- Inspection of home exterior, insulation and mechanical systems
- Air leak analysis with a blower-door diagnostic test
- Combustion safety test
- Carbon monoxide check
- Infrared imaging and analysis
- LED bulbs
- Weather-stripping for one external wooden door
- Energy-efficient showerheads
- Kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators
- Water heater temperature check
- Smart thermostat with AC Rewards enrollment for eligible customers
- Full summary report with findings and recommendations
- Free advising service for upgrades and rebates
- The fees associated with this visit are trip fees and are separate from the services provided during the visit itself
- No guarantee that all offerings can be performed
Installation and program participation limitations:
- French doors cannot have weather-stripping installed.
- Homes without AC cannot enroll in AC Rewards and receive a free thermostat.
- Please see FAQs for other program limitations.
- Homes with vermiculite in the attic insulation or dirty wood-burning fireplaces cannot receive the air leakage analysis (blower-door test).
